About Me

My photo
I am a young, 20 year old female, of dominican descent, who aspires to become a neurologist. My dream is: Achieving and accomplishing what many have not yet succeeded at in the neurological world. My hopes is to better the lives of many, helping adults and children all over the world. I want to donate my talent and time to 3rd world countries that need it the most and teach many other physicians that it is not all about the money, it is about saving and changing lives. This blog is designed for people that demonstrate an appreciation towards certain topics such as music, world issues, poetry, and science topics. Constructive comments and critiques are welcomed. Letting Go

Letting go from you, us, and what was,
Fantasies, dreams, what was said to be love.
Letting go from the rope that held me up above,
Fearless, I have let go from my fear that once was.

Letting go, to be set free, defined in a winter melody.
My heart pumps with veins filled with warm, red blood.
In my brain my thoughts run free as a ponderous flood.
Yet Letting go, being free, my mind wanders through debris.

Pieces of the mess left behind,
letting go, walking away, no longer confined.
Letting go of your hand  and you of mines,
My life is more than this and comes in many designs.

Letting go once more, letting go again,
Letting go is part of life from beginning to end.
A lesson learned  is one worth never letting go,
But for those that were useless should never be told.
