I am a young, 20 year old female, of dominican descent, who aspires to become a neurologist. My dream is: Achieving and accomplishing what many have not yet succeeded at in the neurological world. My hopes is to better the lives of many, helping adults and children all over the world. I want to donate my talent and time to 3rd world countries that need it the most and teach many other physicians that it is not all about the money, it is about saving and changing lives. Why is College so Expensive? #Really America?


It amazes me how expensive college tuition for graduate school is. It actually sickens me to know that by the time I graduate I am going to be buried in debt if I decide to study in the United States.
I am hesitant about leaving the United States but the more research I do it seems to me it is pointing to Canada. If I do decide to stay in the United states it is looking like I am going to move one state above me (G.A). I ultimately want to practice in Miami and I hope I land a good job and do my residency here in the States.


"College seniors who graduated in 2009 carried an average of $24,000 in student loan debt. Meanwhile, unemployment for recent college graduates climbed from 5.8% in 2008 to 8.7% in 2009 - the highest annual rate on record for college graduates aged 20 to 24."
