The Story Behind The Lotus....

                                                           The Lotus.....

The lotus flower is a beautiful flower and one of the most ancient symbols of the world. The lotus flower grows in muddy waters and rises above the surfaces to bloom with remarkable beauty. At night the flower closes and sinks under water, at dawn it rises and opens again.

Untouched by the impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus flower represents long life, health, honor and good luck.

You are probably wondering why I am talking
about this "Lotus Flower?"
This was suppose to be my name.
My mother told me that she was between calling me
"Lotus" or "Angela."
It is kind of cool that she wanted to call me such
a meaningful name, Crazy though how she picked the
UNMEANINGFUL name lol.
Just kidding!
Angela Means Messenger From God.
Angela Is Feminine for Angelo and is derived from the word
Angel.
I think either name would have represented me fine.
Don't You Think?
